Pilates 1:2:1 and Boutique Pilates small group training

Individual Pilates tuition is available for one-off or occasional sessions, as well as regular weekly sessions.


If you are new to Pilates you may like to have a personal training session to check that when you perform Pilates exercises either in group class, online or at home you do so correctly, with the proper alignment and technique. This is a good way to gain confidence and understanding in the correct, safe and ultimately effective way to perform the exercises at your own level. You can use these sessions to learn the basic techniques of deep muscle control and focused breathing which are the basis of the method.

You may wish to continue with personal training, where the one-to-one tuition will help you to progress quickly as the program is tailored specifically for you, with all your realistic individual needs and goals in mind. 6 weeks of classes would be a great introduction to the Pilates method in preparation for joining a group class, although many people have only one or two sessions and some go straight to group sessions. The use of contemporary equipment such as the soft ball and stability roller (if available) will be a further challenge and also help improve your fitness. Personal tuition is also good for advanced students.

Pilates will usually include standing and mat work. Your own small Pilates equipment may be used including any of the following: Swiss ball, small soft ball, stability foam roller, resistance stretch-band, Pilates ring and prickle balls. All equipment can be purchased through various sellers including online and via your instructor if required, please ask for prices and/or visit our Shop page.

Boutique Pilates sessions include  you and 1-3 friends or family members:

You and 1 friend £36, You and 2 friends £45, You and 3 friends £52

Private Pilates training session in your home or workplace, following social distancing guidelines (60 minutes)


1:2:1 Pilates: £35 


Boutique Pilates sessions where you can share the private Pilates training session with a partner, friends or relatives (space allowing):

You and 1 friend £40, You and 2 friends £54, You and 3 friends £60.


  • If you live more than 15 minutes drive from Arnside then an additional charge is payable. Usually, 30 minutes is my maximum drive time.

  • Where possible, sessions should be booked and paid for in advance. 

  • Refunds will not normally be issued on cancellation unless made at least 24 hrs before a planned session, in which case you may transfer to another session time providing a time slot is available.

  • Please inform me of any recent illnesses, medical conditions, or if you are pregnant prior to the session start of each session. 

  • I would only change or cancel a session if absolutely necessary, this is highly unlikely and I will always do my best to accommodate your session and needs.
