Classes at Fitness Dynamics
Friendly, welcoming classes designed to help you feel stronger, move more comfortably, and support your health through midlife and beyond.
Whether you're returning to exercise, managing aches and stiffness, or simply looking for a supportive community, you’ll find a calm, encouraging environment here.
Classes are suitable for women and men aged 40+ and focus on building strength, mobility, and confidence in your body.
My classes combine evidence-based movement, breath awareness, and practical wellbeing education.
Over the years I’ve worked with many people who are dealing with:
• stiff backs and joints
• loss of strength with age
• stress and tension in the body
• menopause and midlife health changes
• lack of confidence returning to exercise
The aim is never extreme workouts or pushing through pain.
Instead, classes focus on helping you:
• move safely and comfortably
• build strength gradually
• improve posture and mobility
• reduce tension in the body
• feel more energised in everyday life
Many members tell me they notice improvements not just in fitness, but also in sleep, stress levels, and general wellbeing.

Pilates & Mobility Classes
These classes focus on posture, spinal mobility, core strength, and releasing unnecessary tension in the body.
You’ll often hear me talk about learning to move well rather than just exercising harder. Many people join these classes to help with stiffness, back discomfort, or simply to feel more comfortable in their bodies as they get older.
Classes in this category include:
• Restorative Pilates – gentle, calming movement that helps release tension and improve posture and mobility
• Dynamic Pilates – a slightly stronger class that builds strength, control, and stability while still being joint-friendly
• Trigger Point Pilates – combines Pilates with fascia and trigger point release techniques to help relieve tight, overworked muscles
These classes are suitable for people who want to move more comfortably, improve strength safely, and feel better in everyday life.
Strength & Mobility Classes
Strength becomes increasingly important as we get older, helping to support bone health, balance, metabolism, and everyday activities.
These classes combine simple cardio movement with strength exercises using light weights and bodyweight movements.
Classes include:
• Lift Strong – strength training designed to build muscle safely and progressively
• Dance Strong – a fun mix of low-impact cardio and strength work that helps improve coordination, stamina, and confidence in movement
The focus is always on safe technique, working at your own pace, and gradually building strength over time.
Breath, Fascia & Relaxation
Breathing, fascia health, and nervous system balance play a huge role in how our bodies feel.
Tension in the jaw, shoulders, pelvic floor, and diaphragm can affect everything from posture to energy levels.
Elements of this work are incorporated into many classes through:
• breath awareness
• gentle fascia release techniques
• relaxation and nervous system regulation
You can explore this approach further in:
• Trigger Point Pilates – fascia release and muscle tension work
• Breathe for Vitality – dedicated breathwork sessions focused on improving breathing patterns, energy, and relaxation
These techniques help many people feel calmer, more mobile, and more comfortable in their bodies.
