Fitness Dynamics Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using the Fitness Dynamics website and participating in our classes and sessions. By accessing the website, booking, or attending sessions, you acknowledge and agree to comply with the terms and conditions outlined below:

 

1. Physical Active Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ): Participants must complete a Physical Active Readiness Questionnaire (PARQ) before participating in our exercise sessions. Please complete it either in paper form or online through the Safety Info page on our website. If the PARQ highlights any physical conditions, medical clearance and a physician's consent form may be necessary.

 

2. Payments and Booking: Please pay for classes through our website, App, or in person. Please visit the BOOK tab on our website to access available sessions and refer to the drop-down tabs for the timetable, pricing plans, and more. We recommend booking at least 2 hours in advance to secure your place in the class. There is a risk of the class being fully booked if you arrive without prior booking.

 

3. Cancellation and Refunds: If you need to cancel your booking, please do so at least 2 hours before the start of the session; you will then receive a refund via an automatic credit to the package used for the booking or by gifting a package that allows you to book an alternative session. Please cancel as early as possible to let others take your place. For refund-related queries, don't hesitate to contact Sam at Fitness Dynamics. To cancel a class, visit the website or App and click 'Cancel' instead of 'Book.' Visit your profile area to see all your bookings.

 

4. Waiting List and Availability: Fitness Dynamics offers a waiting list facility for fully booked classes accessible through the App. If you join the waiting list, you will automatically receive a notification when a space becomes available, allowing you to book your place.

 

5. Class Schedule and Breaks: Class times and timetables are subject to change. Our instructors strive to run classes throughout the local school terms and at least 3 out of 6 weeks during the summer school holidays. There may be a partial or complete two-week break during Christmas and breaks during Easter or half terms. Typically, there are no classes on bank holidays. Annually, classes will run for a minimum of 45 weeks out of 52, with some classes potentially being more affected than others due to bank holidays or other factors. We will try to offer classes during the school holidays, with an updated timetable shared nearer the time. Special sessions such as 'Festive Candlelit Pilates' classes at Christmas and Saturday summer outdoor 'Pilates in the Park' will be planned as weather permits and family commitments allow.

 

6. Pilates Personal Training Packages: Pilates Personal Training packages are non-refundable. We will consider requests to cancel on a case-by-case basis and accept them at the discretion of Fitness Dynamics.

 

7. Unforeseen Circumstances: If Fitness Dynamics cannot conduct a planned class or session, you can attend any other class within the same calendar month. Alternatively, the package or membership used for the original booking will be issued a class credit.

 

8. Membership and Class Plans: The Online Subscription allows unlimited main timetable Zoom classes throughout the calendar month. The Community Subscription allows attendance at 3 classes a week (16 per calendar month). Subscriptions can be cancelled up to 24 hours before the next payment is due unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase. You have two months to use 6-class plans before the classes expire. It is advisable to book your place in advance to ensure availability.

 

9. Discounts and Offers: Any discounts offered by Fitness Dynamics are subject to specific time restrictions or conditions as advertised. Please refer to the relevant information for each offer.

 

10. Dress Code and Equipment: Participants should wear appropriate sportswear for ease of movement and comfort during our classes and sessions. Additionally, we recommend bringing a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the workout. Please bring your mats for Pilates and fitness classes to ensure personal hygiene and a comfortable experience. Prickle balls are particularly beneficial for Trigger Point Pilates, and we encourage their use to enhance the effectiveness of the exercises.

 

11. Participant Autonomy and Safety:

 

At Fitness Dynamics, we value your autonomy and prioritize your safety during our classes and sessions. You have the right to terminate any exercise or workout at any time. Whether you feel discomfort or pain or need a break, we encourage you to listen to your body and make decisions that align with your well-being. Our instructors are trained to provide exercise modifications to accommodate known injuries or physical limitations, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

 

12. Parental Responsibility:

 

During our fitness classes, we kindly request that parents take responsibility for the well-being and safety of any accompanying children who are 14 years old or above, as this helps maintain a focused and conducive environment for all participants.

 

13. Varied Results and Personal Commitment:

 

Recognizing that individual results may vary from our classes and Pilates Personal Training sessions is essential. We cannot guarantee specific outcomes, as various factors influence them. Your commitment to consistent exercise, healthy eating, sufficient rest, and an overall healthy lifestyle will significantly impact the progress and results you achieve. We encourage you to take ownership of your wellness journey and make choices that support your goals.

 

14. Engaging in Exercise at Your Own Risk:

 

We want you to know that when exercising at Fitness Dynamics, you do so at your own risk. Pay attention to your surroundings, be mindful of your body's signals, and respect your limitations. If you are recovering from an injury, pregnant, or postnatal, please inform the instructor about any medical conditions, recent or ongoing pregnancies, or injuries before participating in any class or session. Sometimes, seeking permission and guidance from your GP or healthcare professional may be necessary before attending.

 

15. Media Consent:

 

From time to time, Fitness Dynamics may capture photos and videos during classes or sessions for marketing purposes, including our website, newsletters, blogs, and social media platforms. You consent to Fitness Dynamics collecting and utilizing these images or videos by booking and attending our classes or sessions. Rest assured, our instructors will always seek permission before taking any media. If you prefer not to be featured, you can decline or opt-out permanently by informing the instructor in writing.
