Service Description

Dynamic Pilates – Strength & Balance is an energising yet controlled 60-minute Pilates-based class designed to build strength, stability, and confidence in movement. The class blends standing and floor-based Pilates, functional strength work using body weight and simple equipment, balance challenges, and mobility exercises. Sessions are set to uplifting, mid-tempo music, creating a focused but enjoyable pace without high impact. You’ll move through exercises that support: Leg, glute, and hip strength Core stability and posture Arm and shoulder strength Balance and coordination Joint mobility and flexibility A mix of standing and floor-based exercises supports strength, balance and coordination, helping you feel more confident in everyday movement, walking and outdoor activity. Each class ends with a guided breathing and stretching section to support recovery, relaxation, and overall well-being. Who is this class for? This class is ideal if you: Enjoy Pilates and want something a little more dynamic Want to build strength and balance without high-impact exercise Walk regularly, including hill or fell walking Are you returning to exercise after injury or a break Want to stay strong, mobile, and confident as you get older The class is particularly well-suited to men and women aged around 40+, including peri-, menopausal, and post-menopausal participants, though adults of all ages are welcome. What to expect Low-impact, joint-friendly movement Clear guidance and a supportive atmosphere Options and adaptations are offered throughout No pressure to keep up — work at your own pace What to bring An exercise mat Water Optional: a small towel or cushion for comfort Pilates rings and resistance bands will be used occasionally. You’re welcome to bring your own if you have them — otherwise, I’ll let you know in advance when equipment is needed.

Cancellation Policy

Booking, Cancellation and Waitlist Policy If you cancel your booking more than 2 hours before the class start time, you will receive a credit back to the package or plan used, or you may reschedule into another available class. Credits for single-class bookings are applied manually. Please contact Sam at Fitness Dynamics if needed, or you may reschedule into another available class. Cancellations made within 2 hours of the session start time, or non-attendance, are not eligible for a refund or credit. How to cancel a class: Log in to the website or the Fit by Wix app, go to your profile area, and view your bookings. Select the class and click Cancel (this replaces the “Book” button once you’re booked in). If a class is full, you can join the waiting list via the app (not available on the website). If a space becomes available, you will be notified so you can book in. For any issues with cancellations or in the event of last-minute emergencies, please message Sam directly.
