Service Description

Strengthen and stretch muscles and release fascia restrictions in this empowering resistance training class set to timed music, designed to start your weekend well! Targeted resistance training and flexibility exercises, set to uplifting music, including exercises standing, balancing and in a variety of positions on an exercise mat. We use our own body weight as resistance, as well as small hand weights 0.5-4kg (or water bottles!) and an optional thigh band or tied stretch band. After a great body conditioning workout, we finish laying and relaxing on a foam roller, using prickle/tennis balls, stretching and releasing. This multi-level class incorporates Pilates exercises, core training and stretches of many types. The fascia lines work as one unit and if one is out of balance, it will affect the others, specific stretches and movements are used to activate each body line, Techniques using prickle balls and foam rollers such as compression, shearing, rebounding, full-body movements and stretches are used to make changes within the fascia. For this class, you will need some small equipment, or make do with things you have at home! A softball, or cushion, a stretch band, or old pair of tights, a rolled-up small towel, two prickle balls, or tennis balls, a foam roller approximately 90x10cm, or make your own with a tightly rolled up large towel or two! You can use balls instead of a roller. Come and de-stress, unwind tension, feel longer, leaner and move more freely! Please make sure you have a clear and safe space to exercise at home and check for any hazards including balls, pets and uneven floors!

Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your booking more than 2 hours before the start of the session, you will be refunded by a credit to the package used to make the booking or by the gifting of a package that will enable you to book an alternative session. Any queries about refunds should go directly to Sam at Fitness Dynamics. To cancel a class, go as if to book the service on the website or App, and instead of 'Book' you will see 'Cancel'. All your bookings are available to see in your profile area. For any problems with cancelling or last-minute emergencies, please message Sam.
