Make life simpler using your mobile or tablet!

Did you know that the Fitness Dynamics App is different to the website? I have been told by many of you that the App is great and really convenient for checking the class timetable/schedule, checking and purchasing pricing plans, booking and if necessary cancelling classes, reading blogs, joining and accessing groups, events and online programmes (when available). If you haven’t already got the App and you’d like it you can get it FREE here:

However, there are a few fab things you can’t do, or see on the App, including watching free class videos, accessing the full 24/7 class video library included as a Gold Member, or did you know you can pay for monthly access to this with over 50+ full classes and new content added regularly for only £14.99 pm? If I go live with a class online I can let you know when in advance and you can see me and join in live on the website! I plan to make individual classes masterclasses available for purchase soon too. On the home page I put updates, the link to the App and health questionnaire (to be updates annually please), some info about your instructor (me) too If you are interested! You can also access your members area, see your class bookings, update your contact details, email address, payment details etc, visit my Clearly CBD shop and (coming soon) fitness clothing and health supplements too!

So for all these extra services and details you need to visit the website, so why not add the website to your mobile/tablet home screen just like an App to make it just as convenient to access whenever you need to?

Here’s how:

Follow the instructions below to add a shortcut to Fitness Dynamics website on the home screen of your iPad, iPhone, or Android devices.

Here's how to create an "app" for any website on your device, allowing you to access shortcuts directly from your home screen.

iPhone or iPad

Open Safari. Other browsers, such as Chrome, won't work for this.

Navigate to the website you want to save to your home screen by entering the URL of the website you want to create a shortcut to. Make sure you visit the exact page you want to open through the shortcut. Tap “Go.”

Tap the Share button on the bottom of the page. It looks like a square with an arrow pointing out of the top.

In the list of options that appear, scroll down until you see Add to Home Screen. Tap this. The Add to Home Screen dialog box will appear.

Choose a name for the website shortcut on your home screen. You'll see the link so you can confirm it, as well as the site's favicon that will appear as the "app" icon on your home screen. Click Add when you're done.

Safari will close automatically and you will be taken to where the icon is located on your iPhone’s or iPad's home screen.

Now just tap the new "app" or shortcut on your home screen, and it will open the website in its own navigation window, independent of what you have open in Safari.

Note: If you ever decide you want to remove the website shortcut, you can delete it just like you would any other app on your phone.

Android

Open Chrome.

Navigate to the website or web page you want to pin to your home screen.

Tap the menu icon (3 dots in upper right-hand corner) and tap Add to homescreen.

Choose a name for the website shortcut, then Chrome will add it to your home screen.

If you need any help please just ask and I will do my best to be your tech ‘expert’! 🤣

Please comment and let me know how you get on? I hope this helps.
